Conversational AI for municipalities, museums and public services, trained only on validated information

Which documents do I need? Can I book an appointment? How do I get to the museum? Citizens and tourists ask the same questions every day, and the answers are spread across dozens of pages, offices and websites.

The model

A conversational avatar, available on smartphones or on digital totems in public offices, that:

• answers in natural language and in the visitor's own language;

• uses only information selected and validated by the institution;

• says so when the answer isn't there, and points people to the right office;

• can be updated by the institution itself whenever information changes.

Where we are

We already built an AI guide at the National Museum of Cinema in Turin, based only on the museum's sources and the Treccani Encyclopaedia of Cinema. Conversational avatars are now in development with two more museums, in Lombardy and in Turin. The next step is public administration.

What we're looking for

• An experienced coordinator in digital public services or trustworthy AI.

• Municipalities and public bodies ready to test the avatar with real citizens.

• Research partners on AI evaluation, accessibility and inclusion (older people, international visitors, people less familiar with digital tools).
