From the museum to the historic centre: scaling smart-heritage solutions across the city
Senior Marketing & Communications Manager at Neosyn SRL
Torino, Italy
About
A museum is one of the hardest public buildings in which to introduce new technology: fragile objects, unpredictable visitor flows, limited budgets and strict rules on what can be installed. That is exactly why it's a good test bed.
The idea
Take what we have tested in museums in Turin and Genoa (crowd-monitoring sensors, environmental monitoring, AI guides on validated sources, AR and VR) and bring it to libraries, schools, town halls and entire historic centres. The goal: protecting heritage from a changing climate, managing visitor pressure and making public places accessible to everyone.
What Neosyn brings
-
Design and development of the technical solution.
-
Integration with the systems already used by the municipality and the other partners.
-
Pilot deployment, testing and maintenance.
-
Compliance by design: data protection, cybersecurity, AI Act.
What we're looking for
-
An experienced coordinator in smart cities, cultural heritage or sustainable tourism.
-
Municipalities and cultural institutions ready to become pilot sites.
-
Research partners on urban data, tourism flows or heritage.
