About

The TU Dublin School of Culinary Arts and Food Technology offers education, training, and research for the culinary, food, beverage, and hospitality industries. This reserach team currently works on the PANTOUR project, an Erasmus+ funded initiative (2022–2026) involving 13 organisations from 10 European countries. Their role includes conducting both quantitative and qualitative research to develop sustainable and inclusive strategies for the tourism and hospitality sectors. This work involves creating skills intelligence tools, carrying out country-specific research on digital, green, and social skills, and designing educational toolkits focused on sustainability, equality, diversity, and inclusion.

At the policy level, the team is contributing to the development of the Skills Strategy and Action Plan for the European Tourism and Hospitality Sectors (2026–2036), which aims to guide training and skills development throughout the EU.
