I've established and run a series of Innovation Programmes -- including for new forms of mobility, urban innovation and culture/behaviour change.

Before the cycle industry, I set up the cities/urban innovation programme at the UK's innovation agency, Innovate UK.

This led to establishing what is now called the Connected Places Catapult, initially as. Exec Director of Strategy and then Chief Business Officer for six years.

Prior to that I was Deputy CEO and then CEO at Enterprise UK, running the Innovation Programmes to create a more entrepreneurial culture among young people. This included working globally as we birthed, with the Kauffman Foundation, Global Entrepreneurship Week and other programmes.
