Paul Ortiz

Hello, I am Paul Ortiz, R&D Manager at the Lab R&D Sophia, part of SII Research. My expertise lies in communication networks, formal modeling, and optimization. Currently, I am working on an innovative traffic management project aimed at optimizing travel times in a mixed context of autonomous and non-autonomous vehicles.

I have solid skills in network modeling, quality of service, and service level agreements, as well as in formal modeling, particularly with Petri nets, timed state automata, and Markov chains. As a researcher in computer engineering, I am also open to energy management challenges and have participated in several European projects.

My goal in participating in this event is to meet industrial actors in the fields of mobility and energy, academic researchers in computer science, and local authorities eager to implement innovative solutions. I am particularly sensitive to ecology and artificial intelligence, with a strong affinity for digital technology.
