PARTICIPATION-02: Strengthening Social Fabric for Green Transition – community-driven pilots
About
Building on a longstanding partnership between academia, city labs, NGO's and regional authorities, our cluster has delivered successful neighbourhood-scale programmes that fuse climate action with social inclusion.
Key assets:
• Circular-economy demonstration hubs (Circular Design Lab, maker spaces, urban gardens);
• Proven arts-led engagement formats that activate youth and under-represented groups;
• Capacity-building curricula for municipal staff and local SMEs.
For this RIA we propose three complementary pilots that test and compare strategies (cultural activation, cooperative green services, and peer-learning platforms) to maintain community bonds while accelerating the green transition.
We are ready to coordinate stakeholder engagement and impact assessment WPs, and to host one pilot site. Looking for behavioural scientists, energy-efficiency technologists and social-innovation NGOs to round out the consortium.
