PARTICIPATION-01: Impact of Common Spaces: multi-city living labs & participatory metrics
About
A leading metropolitan university heads a practice-based research cluster that blends academic rigour with on-the-ground municipal know-how. Drawing on:
• Five active living labs across coastal, historic and high-density districts;
• Two decades of award-winning participatory design frameworks;
• Advanced spatial-data and social-impact analytics;
we will pilot and monitor common-space interventions to measure their effects on belonging, safety, circular economy activity and micro-climate comfort.
Our team can: 1- lead the WP on co-creation & impact monitoring;2- provide ready pilot sites and citizen-science toolkits; 3- translate findings into policy briefs and scalable design guidelines.
Seeking partners with behavioural research, digital-twin or cultural-heritage expertise and at least two additional demonstration sites to ensure EU-wide relevance.
