About
We use visual art-based methods to generate qualitative knowledge within research and innovation projects, supporting citizen engagement, co-creation, and research communication.
Our work focuses on designing tailored yet transferable participatory methodologies using visual practices—particularly participatory photography, graphic design, illustration, and video practices—positioning images as tools for producing and interpreting knowledge.
These processes generate visual and textual narratives through participant-led documentation and guided reflection, enabling the exploration of social perspectives, behaviours, and lived experiences. We support participants in interpreting and articulating insights derived from visual material, contributing to the production of structured qualitative knowledge.
Workshops combine visual practices with reflection processes aligned with the theoretical frameworks of each research project, supporting meaning-making and knowledge production within specific social contexts.
Our contribution extends from methodological design to the development of dissemination formats—such as photo essays, exhibitions, films, publications, or hybrid outputs—ensuring that research outcomes are translated into forms that engage researchers, stakeholders, communities, and policy audiences.
We contribute as a methodological partner, work package leader, or proposal-stage collaborator, supporting design, implementation, and coherence across participatory processes and dissemination. This approach is supported by over 25 years of experience in communication, graphic design, and photography, strengthening the translation of research processes into high-quality and context-sensitive outputs.
