About
I offer the design and implementation of art-based participatory methodologies that support citizen engagement, co-creation, and research communication within research and innovation projects. My work focuses on developing tailored processes that use accessible visual practices—particularly participatory photography—to involve citizens in reflecting on research topics and contributing their perspectives.
These processes generate qualitative material in the form of visual narratives and participant-led documentation, providing insights into citizens’ perceptions, behaviours, and lived experiences. This material can support qualitative analysis within the project while also contributing to a deeper understanding of societal contexts relevant to the research.
The methodology also includes the development of communication outputs that emerge from the participatory process. Rather than predefined formats, outputs are shaped by the content and context of the material generated, ensuring that communication remains grounded, relevant, and meaningful for different audiences. This approach supports dialogue between researchers, stakeholders, policymakers, and communities, strengthening both the research process and its societal engagement.
I can contribute to projects in different roles, including leading or supporting work packages related to citizen engagement, participatory research communication, and stakeholder involvement. My contribution can extend across work packages as a methodological partner, supporting both implementation and coherence of engagement processes. I can also provide targeted input during proposal development to strengthen the integration of participatory approaches and the overall quality of project design.
