Whole-school conditions for equitable basic skills development

Head Research Centre Future-Driven Education at Research Centre Future-Driven Education @Karel de Grote University of Applied Sciences and Arts

Antwerp, Belgium

About

We propose to develop and test a whole-school approach to improving basic skills in reading, mathematics and science by combining inclusive classroom management, enabling physical learning environments, and school-wide implementation capacity. The project will examine how safe and structured classroom climates can be adapted for diverse learners, how school spaces can support regulation and learning, and how school teams can build a shared approach that is sustainable across classrooms and school contexts.
