Horizon Europe Cluster 2 – Low‑burden, well‑supported consortium
Research Grants Manager at Maynooth University
Maynooth, Ireland
About
I am an experienced Horizon Europe and ERC project manager based in the Arts and Humanities Institute at Maynooth University, supporting a Cluster 2 consortium coordinated by Professor Anna Hickey‑Moody.
Many excellent academic partners hesitate to join consortia due to concerns about administrative workload, unclear expectations, or delivery risk. My role in this project is explicitly to reduce those burdens through clear structures, realistic planning, and reliable coordination from proposal stage onwards.
I currently manage two ERC projects and a COST Action, and work closely with academic leads and international partners to ensure projects are feasible, well organised, and smoothly run.
What this means for you:
Clear roles, timelines, and expectations from the outset
-
Realistic work packages aligned with academic capacity
-
Practical support during proposal development
-
Coordinated communication and administration post‑award
-
Reduced administrative load for research partners
The aim is to allow collaborators to focus on their research and creative contributions, confident that project management and delivery are handled professionally.
