Coordinator seeking partners for Horizon Europe project on “Artistic Intelligence” under HORIZON CL2 2026 01 HERITAGE 01

Professor of Intersectional Humanities, Director of the Arts and Humanities Institute at Maynooth University

Dublin, Ireland

About

Professor Anna Hickey‑Moody is forming a consortium for the 2026 Cultural Heritage topic to develop a pioneering project on “artistic intelligence” — the structured use of artistic practice, creative inquiry, and cultural participation to enhance soft skills, support community resilience, and drive innovation and competitiveness in Europe’s cultural and creative sectors.

Building on her extensive experience with arts‑based research and intersectional humanities, the project will explore how artistic intelligence can:

  • strengthen social cohesion and belonging,

  • provide new tools for working with communities experiencing disadvantage,

  • expand innovation capabilities through creative methodologies, and

  • contribute to sustainable cultural development.

The project will co-design models, training frameworks, and policy recommendations in partnership with cultural institutions, educators, creative practitioners, and innovation specialists. Professor Hickey‑Moody seeks motivated partners across disciplines and sectors to build an ambitious, impactful consortium, and will serve as Coordinator.
