About
I bring in my skills from hands-on work with various vulnerable groups (e.g. survivors of violence, ethnic minorities, the elderly, spiritual and religious subcultures) and experiences from 5 Daphne II EU projects where I developed resources related to gender equality, gender stereotypes, crisis interventions, tackling violence against women, support groups, etc. I have also investigated the religio-spatial aspects of crisis and danger perception (e.g., mental maps of environmental health crises or violence-related fears).
My current work addresses religion (further, spirituality and worldview) as a marker of intersectionality that can have severe implications in the context of societal functioning, healthcare, education, media, etc. Acknowledging that Europe is more multi-spiritual than ever before but that this aspect (especially its grassroots forms) have not been sufficiently addressed, I bring into the discussion on equality a novel theoretical framework and hands-on human-centred solutions to reduce religion-related disparities, thus supporting the research and innovation goals of the Network for a Union of Equality.
Possible areas of contribution:
Task leader · Conceptual & interdisciplinary research · Analytical framework development · Qualitative analysis · Policy recommendations on human-centred tools . Developing lecture and guidebook materials, co-designing policy briefs · Scientific publications & dissemination
