About
HERITAGE-01: I'm looking for an opportunity to participate in a project that deals with creative and innovative approaches to heritage (especially intangible heritage), heritage policy and museum pedagogics. My institution hosts one of the biggest intangible heritage collections in the world and I could offer creative approaches inspired from traditional mythology and rituals.
For instance, I'm interested in creative / artistic inquiry into personal and collective pasts and presents, e.g., through resilience narratives, re-writing or re-imaging intersectionality and crisis into agentic outputs (such as theatre, comics, short stories, map, journey and ritual formats); multisensory immersive practices (e.g., my experience with putting up a pop-up museum exhibition of 'dreams" where participants could smell and hear various dreams), inclusion of citizen science, especially in relation to vulnerable groups. One of my interests is to widen the dialogue on social inclusion through creating approaches that would include dialogues with more-than-human realms (such as bacteria, animals, even mythological realms, such as spirit-animals or angels, but also sacred words or objects to regain contact with the concept 'sacrality' in the secularised western world).
My insights derive from 30+ years of investigating patterns of fears and creative coping strategies expressed in archival folklore materials, past and present life histories and real-life crisis situations.
I can offer:
-
My contribution in drafting the project application, designing and implementation of participatory processes in real-life human-centred contexts, pilot actions (with experiential, multisensory, dialogigal, artistic focus, fostering participation, critical thinking and inclusive dialogue), dissemination (based on my skills with various formats).
-
When needed, a small interdisciplinary and creative team that would take responsibility for a work package or project task.
Possible areas of contribution: Task leader · Conceptual & interdisciplinary research · Analytical framework development · Qualitative analysis · Policy recommendations on human-centred tools . Developing lecture and guidebook materials, policy briefs · Scientific publications & dissemination
