Director at Memento mortis
Heraklion - Crete, Greece
About
Memento Mortis is a Greece-based (Crete - Heraklion) cultural organisation offering expertise in participatory artistic methodologies, co-creation processes and public space interventions. Our work combines performance, storytelling and audiovisual practices to engage communities and address societal challenges.
We are interested in joining Horizon Europe Cluster 2 consortia, particularly in topics related to artistic intelligence, democratic participation and media literacy. Specifically:
-
HORIZON-CL2-2026-01-HERITAGE-01: “Artistic intelligence” : harnessing the power of the arts to address complex challenges, enhance soft skills and boost innovation and competitiveness
-
HORIZON-CL2-2026-01-DEMOCRACY-09: Lifelong learning of citizenship education and citizen participation
-
HORIZON-CL2-2026-01-DEMOCRACY-10: Digital and media literacy as drivers for democratic and civic resilience
We contribute to the design and implementation of participatory processes in real-life contexts, supporting co-creation, community engagement and pilot actions. Our work focuses on translating complex social and cultural challenges into experiential, arts-based formats that foster civic participation, critical thinking and inclusive dialogue.
We can support pilot activities, workshops and public-facing interventions, as well as contribute to practice-based research and interdisciplinary collaboration, particularly where engagement with communities and end-users is central to the project design
