About
Research team from Kazakhstan based at Almaty Humanitarian-Economic University offering expertise for Horizon Europe Cluster 2 projects. Our work focuses on democracy studies, social inclusion, digital governance, cultural heritage and the ethical and societal implications of artificial intelligence.
We contribute interdisciplinary research combining philosophy of technology, digital humanities, governance studies and social sciences. Our expertise includes democratic participation, digital media ecosystems, hybrid institutions, cultural heritage and identity, and the societal impact of digital transformation.
The team provides empirical research and comparative perspectives from Central Asia, a region often underrepresented in European research projects but highly relevant for understanding global democratic and cultural transformations.
We are interested in joining consortia preparing proposals for the 2026 Horizon Europe Cluster 2 calls.
