About
Immersive capture of Language and Cultural Practices in Context
Our goal is to develop and test new immersive technologies for the holistic, in situ preservation and teaching of endangered languages and cultural practices. Specifically, we research methods for the capture of languages and practices so that they can be learned by future generations. Our project uses emerging "holistic capture" technologies to capture practices with their contexts in a form that can be later experienced immersively.
Desired Partners: Experts in endangered languages, cultural heritage, researchers in AI, XR and relevant technologies.
