About
Puțintei Commune is a rural public authority in Orhei District, Republic of Moldova, representing the villages of Puțintei, Dișcova and Vîprova (approximately 1,390 inhabitants). We offer project-ready municipal pilot sites and local implementation capacity for New European Bauhaus and Horizon Europe consortia.
Our priority demonstrators include:
• Puțintei kindergarten – energy audit, technical design and funding documentation prepared for deep energy renovation.
• Dișcova school – an underused three-storey public building with an energy audit and a large municipal site, suitable for adaptive reuse as a multifunctional community, educational or social hub.
• Puțintei House of Culture and surrounding public spaces – potential for inclusive cultural and community-led regeneration.
The municipality has implemented 100% LED street lighting and three 10 kW photovoltaic systems at water-supply wells, and has experience in local energy planning and cross-border cooperation. We seek coordinators and partners for pilot demonstration, co-design with residents, energy efficiency, circular renovation, financing models and replication in rural and small-municipality contexts.
