Supporting more than 60 municipalities in implementing their climate plans, the Province of Liege is a key actor in local territorial climate governance, demonstrating a strong institutional commitment to climate change mitigation and adaptation. Energy efficiency strategy in public buildings, nature-based solutions in urban areas linked with ecological corridors, holistic solutions for sustainable food systems and healthy diets and agroecological approaches are part of the priorities in terms of climate change mitigation and adaptation actions.
