About
Transversal Coop.V is a social innovation cooperative based in Castelló (Spain) and promoter of L’Andana, a community and cooperative space operating as a local social infrastructure within the Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE).
L’Andana functions as a community living lab in a medium-sized Southern European city, aligned with the values and principles of the New European Bauhaus, where we experiment with shared infrastructures, inter-cooperation, inclusive governance and territorially rooted economic practices.
We have strong expertise in community-based governance, feminist and anti-racist organisational models, and solidarity economy ecosystems. At the same time, we are seeking collaboration with partners specialised in finance, economics and public policy to explore sustainable investment, hybrid funding and collective ownership models for community infrastructures.
We are particularly interested in contributing to research that analyses market, financial and institutional barriers limiting the scalability and long-term sustainability of NEB community initiatives.
We have also developed Fem Lliga!, an open-source digital tool that strengthens local ecosystems through collaboration, shared resources and collective diagnostics, offering additional ground for experimentation and comparative research.
We are also open to collaboration in NEB Participation calls focusing on inclusive governance, neighbourhood resilience and community-led transformation.
We position ourselves as a pilot partner and living lab site within a strong European consortium.
