Alive

Alive is a Brussels-based socio-spatial design agency that empowers local actors to reclaim and shape their city. Through an empathetic and collaborative approach, we work to make public spaces in vulnerable neighborhoods of Brussels more inclusive and livable.

Our practice ranges from large-scale urban strategies to small-scale spatial interventions. In every project, we follow a consistent methodology: we analyze existing social and spatial dynamics, actively engage the local community, and co-create their everyday environment.

Founded in 2010, our team brings together architects, social designers, and spatial designers who address the challenges of urban transformation through an interdisciplinary approach.
