About
The majority of Estonian urban housing stock is comprised of 20th century high density housing blocks. The architectural quality, public provision, and neighbourhood dynamics of these areas vary greatly. The project aims to build upon SOFTacademy, Tallinn’s first neighbourhood-based renovation project to analyse residents' experiences of recently renovated 20th century housing districts, contrasting these against neighbourhoods from similar eras with varying states and methods of regeneration.
