BUSINESS-03: REGEN-AGE Hubs
Chief Impact Officer at Impact Brussels
Belgium
About
REGEN-AGE Hubs will develop and validate a replicable approach for transforming vacant/obsolete/underutilised buildings and adjacent land into beautiful, inclusive and sustainable neighbourhood assets that support healthy ageing, food literacy, social connection, and mental well-being. The project will prototype intergenerational “Food + Culture + Care” hubs where older adults learn and practice nutrition for healthy conditions, co-produce fresh food through accessible cultivation (indoor/outdoor micro-farming), and participate in creative programmes (arts, storytelling, crafts, music, light movement) designed to reduce isolation and support mental fitness—together with youth, families, and local community groups.
