Why Bursa?

Bursa is a metropolitan city of 3,263,011 people across 17 districts. Historic neighbourhoods, industrial areas, coastal settlements, rural landscapes, public spaces and natural areas such as Uludağ provide diverse settings for NEB demonstration activities.

The municipality has 99 branch directorates and approximately 14,500 personnel, including affiliated entities and municipal companies.

We Are Already Preparing

NEB calls have been introduced across the municipality. Meetings have been held with the most relevant units to identify:

• possible municipal contributions;

• demonstration and pilot area options;

• units ready to take part in implementation.
