NEB-2026-PARTICIPATION-01 or similar: affordable housing civic coop looking for partners

Advisor and project manager in social urban space at Fair Ground Brussels

Belgium

About

There is a real need for housing for people in a situation of homelessness in Brussels. The public sector doesn't have the money (only to subsidize rent) and the private sector can't meet their profit requirements in this segment.

As a civic coop, Fair Ground develops affordable housing in a non-speculative real estate model (CLT model) and rents it out through social real estate agencies (subsidized rent scheme). People in a situation of homelessness are a specific priority in our target audience.

To make projects viable, we're always looking for ways to reduce the cost of construction, of real estate, and of financing. We're looking to join any consortium interested in these topics.
