SSH and Design Partner Offering a Lithuanian Validation Site for HORIZON NEB 2026 PARTICIPATION 03

Vilnius College of Design VCD is a higher education institution with more than 25 years of experience in design, digital media, creative industries and interdisciplinary practice. VCD is interested in joining a consortium preparing a proposal for HORIZON NEB 2026 01 PARTICIPATION 03 Understanding inhabitants experiences of neighbourhoods to support their health and well-being.

VCD can contribute as an SSH and design partner, combining participatory research with applied design methods. Our potential contribution includes research on inhabitants experiences and needs, sensory and emotional responses to neighbourhood environments, participatory methods, co-design, community engagement, visual research methods and user-centred assessment.

We can support the involvement of inhabitants, local authorities, cultural and creative organisations, educational actors and other community stakeholders throughout the research and validation process. VCD can also involve researchers, educators, students and creative practitioners in project activities.

VCD can contribute to a Lithuanian validation site, supporting engagement with local communities, data collection, co-design activities and testing of approaches aimed at supporting health and well-being in neighbourhoods.

We are interested in cooperation with coordinators and consortia bringing together expertise in SSH, public health, environmental psychology, urban studies and planning, design, cultural and creative sectors, local governance and community participation.
