SSH and Design Partner Offering a Lithuanian Demonstration Site for HORIZON NEB 2026 PARTICIPATION 02

Project coordinator at Vilnius College of Design

About

Vilnius College of Design VCD is a higher education institution with more than 25 years of experience in design, digital media, creative industries and interdisciplinary practice. VCD is interested in joining a consortium preparing a proposal for HORIZON NEB 2026 01 PARTICIPATION 02 Innovative approaches for the spatial design of neighbourhoods.

VCD can contribute as an SSH and design partner, combining participatory research with applied design methods. Our potential contribution includes research on inhabitants and stakeholder needs, participatory design and co design processes, community engagement, spatial and service design, visualisation, prototyping and user testing.

We can support the involvement of inhabitants, local authorities, cultural and creative organisations, educational actors and other local stakeholders throughout the research and demonstration process. VCD can also involve researchers, educators, students and creative practitioners in project activities.

VCD can contribute to the development of a Lithuanian demonstration site, supporting local stakeholder engagement, co design activities, testing and assessment of proposed approaches in a real neighbourhood context.

We are interested in cooperation with coordinators and consortia bringing together expertise in urban and spatial planning, architecture, SSH, environmental research, cultural and creative sectors, local governance and community participation.
