Emerging Technologies for Ubiquitous Vehicle Connectivity — Safe, Smart, and Secure

Senior Technology Scouting & Partnership Manager at HARMAN Automotive

Munich, Germany

About

HARMAN is exploring future-ready connectivity architectures that guarantee continuous, low-latency, and cyber-secure communication across heterogeneous networks. The challenge is to integrate AI-driven network orchestration, edge-cloud collaboration, and software-defined infrastructures into a unified connectivity layer.

We seek innovations in:

  • Multi-domain communication: Seamless switching across 5G/6G, Wi-Fi 7, and LEO satellite networks.

  • AI-assisted networking: Predictive link management and self-optimizing connectivity stacks.

  • Edge compute integration: Distributed processing and orchestration between vehicle ECUs and cloud.

  • SDV infrastructure: Virtualized network functions, OTA services, and zonal architectures.

  • Cybersecurity & resilience: Zero-trust frameworks, post-quantum encryption, and ISO/SAE 21434 compliance.

HARMAN is looking for engineering teams and startups in AI networking, edge systems, and secure SDV frameworks to build the next generation of connected vehicle platforms.
