About
We have 6 drones and 1 buoy all on the shores of Türkiye/Romania and Georgia callecting real time data on 5 parameters. Additionally, We will also have blackboxes (sensors) attached to the commercial ships that will gather real time data from Blacksea off-shore (a contracted investment that will be finished in 8 months)
We have built:
-
A Joint Data Center across Romania, Türkiye and Georgia;
-
A Joint Data Dashboard
-
Environmental Forecasting Methodology through AI Algorithm and Modeling
Through our established infrastructure—comprising six drones, one buoy, and upcoming ship-based blackbox sensors collecting real-time offshore data across Türkiye, Romania, and Georgia—alongside a jointly operated cross-border data center, integrated dashboard, and AI-driven environmental forecasting methodology, we provide a comprehensive regional solution for marine monitoring, modelling, and decision support. Within HORIZON-MISS-2026-03-OCEAN-05, we contribute by supplying interoperable, real-time datasets and predictive analytics to the EU Digital Twin of the Ocean via EDITO, enabling the development of localized Black Sea digital twin applications and scenario-based services. For HORIZON-MISS-2026-03-OCEAN-02, we deliver continuous pollution monitoring, source-to-sea analysis, and AI-supported forecasting tools to enhance environmental management and policy support. Under HORIZON-MISS-2026-03-OCEAN-04, our infrastructure serves as a fully operational Black Sea testing and validation environment for marine technologies, sensors, and AI models in real conditions. Finally, within HORIZON-MISS-2026-03-OCEAN-01, we contribute high-resolution environmental datasets that support habitat mapping and ecosystem assessment by integrating water quality and marine condition parameters into broader modelling frameworks.
