About

The Paediatric Cancer Centre Barcelona (PCCB) of Barcelona Children’s Hospital Sant Joan de Déu, (HSJD) is the first monographic centre in Spain on childhood cancer and one of the few in Europe. Currently, it accumulates the highest number of new cases per year (>400) for the diagnosis and treatment of childhood and adolescent cancer within Spain. The PCCB-HSJD is also an international reference center, receiving >100 patients a year from outside Spain and Europe. Functional Units:

  • Leukemia, Lymphoma Histiocytosis

  • Brain and Spinal Cord Tumors

  • Extra-cranial Solid Tumors

  • Hematopoietic Progenitor Transplant Unit & CAR-T cell unit

  • Survivorship Unit

  • Cancer Predisposition Unit
