Along Horizon Europe, 44 projects have been granted to our institution, 11 coordinated and 33 as partner, with a total economic return of €29.7M (89 funded projects with a return of €36.81M along H2020).
So far, IDIBAPS has participated in 4 Cancer Mission projects, coordinating 3 of them.

IDIBAPS hosts a strong and multidisciplinary Cancer Research Programme that covers the full translational pipeline, from molecular biology and preclinical models to clinical trials and patient care. The programme brings together over 25 research groups and is organized around five major areas: solid tumours, haematological malignancies, cancer immunotherapy, biomarkers and precision oncology, and tumour microenvironment and metastasis.

We work across multiple cancer types, including breast cancer, colorectal cancer, prostate cancer, lung cancer, and haematological malignancies. We are also active in cancer diagnostics, biomarker discovery, and the development of targeted therapies and immunotherapy approaches.
