About
The INiBICA (Instituto de Investigación e Innovación Biomédica de Cádiz) is a public biomedical research institute with strong activity in translational medicine and advanced therapies. Within INiBICA, the immunotherapy group led by Francisco García Cózar focuses on the development of innovative allogeneic CAR T-cell strategies, particularly for acute myeloid leukemia (AML).
The group develops flexible, off-the-shelf CAR T platforms and novel antibody-based targeting approaches aimed at improving efficacy while reducing toxicity. Their work combines target identification, advanced preclinical modeling, and close interaction with clinical hematology, enabling effective translation from laboratory research to clinical application.
