Psychology clinical research team from Institute of Biomedical Research and Innovation of Cádiz

INiBICA (Institute of Biomedical Research and Innovation of Cádiz)The institute oversees over 780 researchers and provides comprehensive healthcare coverage across the province of Cadiz, serving a population of more than 1.2 million people who may benefit from its activities in collaboration with the University of Cadiz and the province’s Public Health Centres.

Our research teams lead by focuses on understanding the quality of life and work capacity of oncology patients. It examines how personal resources—such as emotional regulation and coping strategies—and social resources—like support networks—function as risk or protective factors. The team also has strong technical expertise, having developed and validated two applications that assess these variables and generate real‑time reports on how resource use affects patient outcomes.
