Institute with strong portfolio in environmental & science communication looking for a project consortium

Based in North Macedonia, ICS is a non-profit research and education organization working at the intersection of media, communication and civic engagement. With a strong focus on environmental communication, environmental journalism and science communication, the Institute of Communication Studies is looking to join a project consortium for the Horizon MISSIONS.

The Institute has past experience in environmental & public advocacy campaigns and has been involved in few EU funded projects in the field:

• Leading „Encouraging behavioral changes of citizens for improving waste management practice in the Prespa Region“ (2025-2027) - Funded by EU

• Partner in HORIZON 2020 project “Urban approach to accelerating nature-based solutions through the EU Regenerative Urban Lighthouse - UPSURGE” (2020-2026)

• Partner in Integrative Strengthening of Seismic Risk Awareness (ISRA) (2022-2024) - Funded by EU

The Institute runs an environmental journalism platform Doma.edu.mk, with the aim to research, analyze, inform, and educate the public about the protection of the environment and biodiversity.
