EU projects Manager at ENERAGEN

León, Spain

About

We serve as a bridge between public bodies, local authorities, energy agencies, and EU frameworks, with a proven track record in policy implementation and knowledge exchange.

Key Capabilities

  • Deployment & Demonstration: Through our member agencies, we can access pilot sites and demonstration buildings (including district heating systems) and support the rollout across multiple climate zones in Spain.

  • Technical Feasibility & Policy Feedback: Conduct feasibility studies and provide policy feedback on low-temperature district heating, heat pumps, integration of waste heat, and digital control systems, aligned with topic objectives.

  • Stakeholder Engagement & Replicability: Mobilize local authorities, housing cooperatives, utilities, installers, and NGOs to engage citizens, ensuring social acceptance and enabling replication across different regions.

  • Capacity Building & Knowledge Exchange: Organize seminars, workshops, and webinars within our network to share best practices and support end-users and stakeholders in transitioning to low-temperature heating solutions.

  • Maximizing Impact: Experienced in setting up and facilitating working groups, fostering synergies, aligning strategies, and assisting municipalities, tech providers, and research institutes.

Relevant Experience

  • Supported national and EU Mission-aligned activities, aligning local policies with climate-neutral and smart-city objectives.

  • Coordinated multi-stakeholder projects.

  • Engaged with district heating operators and municipalities for introducing low-temperature system upgrades and citizen engagement campaigns.

EnerAgen can integrate additional Spanish regional partners and seek for demonstration sites, leveraging expertise in district heating decarbonization and urban retrofit programs.
