About

ICONS integrates three complementary competences: science communication, social innovation and business innovation, enabling a strong and coherent contribution to impact-oriented research and innovation projects. With more than 25 years of experience, ICONS has contributed to around 80 EU-funded R&I projects, many also under Horizon Europe Cluster 1, covering a broad range of health-related topics.

We work with an impact-driven model specifically designed to support the translation of health research results into tangible scientific, societal and economic value. By collaborating closely with researchers, healthcare stakeholders, companies, public authorities and civil society actors, we support the full innovation pathway from evidence generation to real-world uptake. Our integrated approach combines communication and dissemination, stakeholder and citizen engagement, human-centred and social innovation frameworks, and exploitation and business strategies, contributing to awareness raising, societal acceptance, policy relevance, market uptake and long-term sustainability of project results.

ICONS plays a strategic role in maximising the impact of EU-funded health projects. We are a strategic partner of the BOOSTER consortium, the EU flagship initiative providing dissemination and exploitation support to already funded European R&I projects, with a strong focus on health and life sciences.

We are currently seeking partnerships in new Horizon Europe Cluster 1 Health proposals, where we can contribute expertise in Communication and Dissemination, Exploitation, Business and Innovation Management, Social Innovation, fully aligned with the impact requirements of the Cluster.
