Spectral and hyperspectral characterization and analysis
Full Professor at UNIBO
Bologna, Italy
About
Strong expertise in the spectroscopic and theoretical characterization of molecules and molecular complexes. Besides all conventional spectroscopic techniques (IR, Raman, NIR, IR, UV-vis etc..) the research group has a unique expertise in rotational spectroscopy . The spectroscopic signatures can be used for the qualitative and quantitative determination of the chemical composition of complex mixtures and detection with no matrix interferences, no separation, no chemometrics. Using new developments in Molecular Resonance Rotational Spectroscopy the analysis can be achieved within minutes.
Applications:
Multiple applications e.g. detection and monitoring of pollutants, online control in chemical, pharmaceutical and food processes, detection of impurities, characterization of materials
