About
RUDOLF DURANER is a leading industrial company in the field of textile chemicals, developing sustainable and innovative solutions with its long-standing expertise, strong R&D infrastructure, and industrial production capabilities. The company focuses on developing high-performance, environmentally friendly, and regulation-compliant chemical systems for textile finishing processes. The in-house R&D Center, with its multidisciplinary expert staff, manages a holistic innovation process ranging from basic research to applied research, from laboratory scale to pilot production and industrial scale validation. Thanks to this structure, RUDOLF DURANER plays an active role in raising the TRL (Treatment, Resistance, and Quality) level of innovative products and processes, testing them in field conditions, and commercializing them. The company's technical capabilities include functional finishing systems, bio-based and biodegradable chemicals, enzymatic and low-energy textile processes, surface modification, and performance-enhancing textile chemicals. Active R&D studies are conducted, particularly within the framework of a circular economy approach, on systems that reduce environmental impact, increase water and energy efficiency, and aim to reduce carbon footprint. RUDOLF DURANER possesses a pilot-scale production and application infrastructure, enabling the testing of developed chemical solutions under real production conditions. This bridges the gap between academic knowledge and industrial application, accelerating the transfer of research outputs to the market. The company can conduct pilot applications, demonstrations, and validation studies in the field by establishing close collaborations with textile manufacturers. Our organization has experience participating as an industrial partner, technology developer, and pilot application provider in national and EU-supported R&D and innovation projects. We are open to actively participating in multi-partner consortia with universities, research centers, SMEs, start-ups, and large-scale industrial organizations. We contribute to projects not only technically but also in terms of industrial perspective, scalability, market fit, and commercialization strategies. RUDOLF DURANER participates in projects aligned with the European Green Deal, the Chemicals Strategy, Sustainable Textiles, and Circular Economy goals. RUDOLF DURANER is positioned as a strong project partner in the fields of chemical formulation development, process optimization, industrial demonstration, environmental impact and sustainability assessment, technology validation, and market-oriented innovation. With its R&D strength, production infrastructure, and sectoral experience, RUDOLF DURANER aims to be a reliable industrial partner providing high added value to consortia in research and innovation projects across Europe, particularly in Horizon Europe.
