Digital & AI partner for Horizon Europe Cluster 6 projects
Head of Research and Innovation at Nowocert
Dublin, Ireland
About
Who we are
Nowocert is a technology company based in Dublin, Ireland, focused on advanced software and digital solutions that support the transition to a sustainable, net-zero future. We design and implement data-driven platforms for planning, operation and management of complex systems, originally in the energy and transportation sectors, and increasingly at the interface with agri-food, bioeconomy and environmental domains.
Our expertise
Our core competencies include AI-based forecasting, optimization algorithms, techno-economic modelling, decision-support systems and development of secure cloud-based software platforms. We have experience with tools such as solar and wind forecasting based on machine learning, optimisation of energy system flexibility, dynamic energy management and planning of storage operation, all of which can be transferred to Cluster 6 topics (e.g. digital twins, integrated modelling, data platforms, early-warning and predictive systems).
What we are looking for
We are looking for project cooperation in Horizon Europe Cluster 6 (Food, Bioeconomy, Natural Resources, Agriculture and Environment), in particular calls that:
– require digitalisation, AI and software development (e.g. decision-support tools, optimisation engines, data platforms, digital twins, modelling and simulation);
– address sustainable and resilient agri-food systems, bioeconomy and circular economy;
– focus on environmental observation, water and climate adaptation, biodiversity monitoring or ecosystem services;
– explore healthy and sustainable diets supported by digital applications.
Our role in a consortium
Nowocert can act as a technology and R&D partner responsible for: requirements analysis, system and data architecture, back-end/front-end development, AI/ML model design, optimisation algorithms, integration with IoT/monitoring infrastructures, dashboards and user interfaces, as well as techno-economic assessment and exploitation planning. We are open to joining consortia as a work-package leader for digital solutions or as a key software developer within larger multi-disciplinary teams.
Partners sought
We are interested in collaborating with universities and research organisations, technology providers, agri-food and bioeconomy companies, utilities, municipalities, NGOs and public authorities engaged in Cluster 6 topics.
