My name is Marco Alberti, and I represent the 5th generation of the Alberti family, which has been producing the famous San Daniele Ham since 1906.
Artisanal ham factory owned by the Alberti family and located in San Daniele del Friuli since 1906. Today, it is the only producer that still crafts the renowned San Daniele ham in the historic town center, atop the San Daniele hill. For five generations, the Alberti family has followed traditional artisanal methods, ensuring the quality of a product celebrated worldwide. The hams are aged in halls designed in harmony with the surrounding landscape, where natural air currents from the moraine area help them mature to perfection. The recently renovated facility combines these ancient practices with cutting‑edge technologies for precise quality control. Next to the production site stands the historic Osteria, where visitors can taste and purchase San Daniele ham along with other typical Friulian specialties.
Visitors can join a guided tour of the production site, ending with a tasting of San Daniele ham, local cheeses, and seasonal vegetables. We are fully equipped to welcome groups, offering an engaging and authentic experience at the heart of San Daniele’s artisanal tradition.
