Selba S.A. is a Swiss precision manufacturer based in Geneva, Switzerland, offering fine glass machining alongside photolithography work.

We machine and drill glass and quartz substrates down to 0.1mm thickness, using equipment designed in-house and diamond tooling exclusively. This covers cutting, drilling, and complex profile work on rigid and thin substrates that standard glass shops won't touch.

In watchmaking, we machine dial bases, case backs and moon-phase discs to the tight mechanical tolerances and aesthetic finish that high-end horology demands, on both glass and quartz. In optics and photonics, we take on wafer machining and the cutting of lenses and other precision glass components, drawing on our experience in precision cutting to deliver a bespoke service.

Because glass machining and photolithographic patterning happen under the same roof, we hold precise geometric indexing between a printed pattern and its machined external profile — no tolerance stack-up from handing work between subcontractors. That matters wherever a patterned element (an encoder disc, a calibration target, a photomask) also needs to be cut or drilled to an exact mechanical envelope.
