New generation multi-DOF motion system

In the motion system world, adding Degree of Freedom usually means stacking axes on top of each other, accumulating more and more errors along the way.

We have created a unique motion platform system, capable of multiple DoF motion without any stacking.

This is not an hexapod, this is a new kind of motion architecture, currently patent pending.

• Stroke : Unlimited stroke in X and Y : no technical limitation, same a a typical XY stage, Up to 10mm stroke in Z, 1° in every angles

• Repeatability : sub-µm repeatability

• Payload : The major breakthrough, say goodbye to high precision platform being limited in payload, up to 12Kg payload with no performance reduction

• Speed : 1g, 1m/s

Typical use cases :

• Extreme flatness required : imagine keeping your process within +/-100nm Z over 400x400mm

• 6DoF manipulation with limited Z and angular stroke but over large XY area.

The prototype is up and running, no picture for confidentiality. Currently only accepting discussion for prospect having real identified needs.
