Elephant Brain Lab S.r.l. is an Italian innovative startup founded in 2025 in Rome, developing neurotechnology that makes high-quality brain monitoring possible outside the laboratory.

Our core product, E1, is a wearable multimodal headset integrating 32 dry EEG channels with dedicated periocular electrodes for ocular artifact capture, combined with PPG, EDA and skin temperature sensing. Our proprietary real-time artifact correction pipeline (EL-RAC) delivers clean, research-grade signals during natural movement and in unshielded environments — the main barrier that has kept quantitative EEG confined to clinical laboratories.

The platform is completed by an AI assistant supporting clinicians in qEEG interpretation, report generation and protocol design, by immersive XR training environments, and by a normative qEEG database under development, built on harmonised multi-site datasets.

Applications: neurofeedback and clinical assessment, cognitive and mental workload monitoring, remote patient follow-up, sport and high-performance training, occupational wellbeing.

Technology and partnerships: our integrated device architecture is protected by an Italian patent with international PCT filing (2026). We collaborate with TU Ilmenau (dry electrode technology), University of Naples Federico II (CIRMIS/ARHeMLab), VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland, and OT Bioelettronica (biomedical amplifiers).
