What we bring to a consortium

Elephant Brain Lab develops E1, a wearable multimodal headset combining 32-channel dry EEG with periocular electrodes, PPG, EDA and skin temperature sensing, with proprietary real-time artifact correction (EL-RAC) running on embedded hardware. This makes research-grade electrophysiology feasible during natural movement and outside shielded environments.

As a partner we can contribute:

• Hardware and instrumentation — devices for multi-site data collection, with technical support and customisation for study protocols

• Signal processing expertise — real-time artifact correction, source localisation, qEEG feature extraction

• Data infrastructure — GDPR-compliant acquisition and processing architecture, including pseudonymisation of raw electrophysiological data

• Domain expertise — approximately 20 years of applied research in psychophysiology, EEG/qEEG and neurofeedback

• Normative reference data — a harmonised multi-site qEEG database currently in development

Existing consortium experience

We work with VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland, TU Ilmenau (dry electrode technology), University of Naples Federico II — CIRMIS / ARHeMLab, and OT Bioelettronica. Our integrated device architecture is protected by Italian patent IT102025000015982 with international PCT filing (2026).

Horizon Europe (Cluster 1 — Health), EIC Pathfinder and Transition, Eurostars, and bilateral or regional collaborative programmes. We are open both to joining consortia already in formation and to co-designing a proposal from scratch.
