About
VoiceMed is opening a new investment round to support the commercialization and European market launch of VoiceMed Check, our AI-powered solution for COPD case finding.
VoiceMed Check uses voice and breathing sounds recorded through a smartphone to identify people at risk who may show signs of COPD and should be referred for diagnostic confirmation. The solution targets adults aged 40+ with risk factors such as a history of smoking or relevant occupational and environmental exposure.
Following several years of technology development and clinical validation, VoiceMed is progressing toward CE marking as a Class IIa medical device under the EU MDR, with market launch planned for 2027.
The new funding round will primarily support the transition from clinical and regulatory development to commercialization. Our go-to-market strategy focuses on making VoiceMed Check available through GPs and pharmacies, supported by partnerships with pharmaceutical companies and other healthcare stakeholders interested in improving COPD case finding and earlier diagnosis.
The investment will support CE marking completion, initial market launches, commercial team expansion, partnerships with GP and pharmacy networks, market-access activities and further clinical evidence generation.
VoiceMed has already built a clinical dataset of more than 3,300 participants and established collaborations with hospitals, research organizations and industry partners across Europe.
We are interested in connecting with investors with experience in digital health, MedTech, diagnostics and life sciences who can support VoiceMed not only with capital, but also with expertise and networks as we move into commercialization and international scale-up.
