About
VoiceMed is seeking hospitals, universities, research organizations, primary care networks and other clinical partners interested in collaborating on the further clinical validation of VoiceMed Check, our AI-powered solution for COPD case finding.
VoiceMed Check analyzes voice and breathing sounds collected through a smartphone to identify people at risk who may show signs of COPD and should be referred for diagnostic confirmation.
Following our existing clinical studies, we are interested in expanding validation to new geographies and populations to assess the generalizability and robustness of the technology across different real-world settings.
Potential studies could include populations with different COPD prevalence and risk profiles, healthier populations, older adults, different smoking and environmental exposure profiles, and participants from different countries, languages or healthcare systems.
Depending on the research question, studies could compare VoiceMed Check results with spirometry and clinical diagnosis and evaluate diagnostic performance, usability and feasibility within different case-finding pathways.
We are open to defining the study design together with the clinical partner based on their population, infrastructure and research interests. VoiceMed can contribute the technology, study methodology, technical support and experience gained through previous clinical studies.
The objective is to generate high-quality clinical evidence supporting the use of VoiceMed Check across diverse populations and healthcare settings while establishing long-term collaborations with clinical and research centers in respiratory health, primary care and digital health.
