APWonders S.r.l., a spin-off of the University of Palermo, provides engineering and manufacturing services for custom laboratory devices and prototypes for biomedical research and testing.

Drawing on extensive experience in mechanical design, academic research and industrial development, we turn clients’ ideas and experimental requirements into fully operational equipment. Our services support universities, public and private research centres, biomedical companies and R&D departments requiring specialised engineering expertise.

Equipment developed and sold includes heart valve flow duplicators, biaxial mechanical testing machines, devices for bending tests on biological tissues, electrospinning equipment and custom gloveboxes. This experience enables us to develop bespoke solutions for experimental needs that standard commercial equipment cannot fully meet.
