SysMLv2: A tool-agnostic conceptual introduction

General SysML v2 language constructs will be introduced. Both a conceptual introduction as well as suitable example models will be provided in the textual notation. Some textual SysML v2 tool on the practitioners' machines will be used to create models.

The training covers MBSE implementation in a system-as-code approach, which is shaping the future of MBSE. The use of SysML v2 textual notation, employing SysIDE Pro Suite software tooling, will be explained.

First, an open source SysML v2 library for space models will be introduced. Afterwards, a practical exercise using the library will be carried out. In the end, a discussion of future collaborations and development with the audience.

The workshop consists of presentations on the practical application of the system-as-code MBSE approach using the textual notation of SysML v2. Presentations will be followed by in-depth Q&As and discussions on the value of the system-as-code approach.
