Adventure travel

We design and operate adventure travel programs in the Almaty region, one of the most diverse regions of Kazakhstan, with landscapes ranging from glaciers and high mountain valleys to canyons, steppe and semi-desert areas.

Programs are developed in close cooperation with our partners and tailored to specific group profiles and target markets. Based on partner requirements, we create flexible travel packages that combine active exploration with cultural and nature-based experiences.

All programs are fully organised by our team and delivered as complete tour operator packages with clear inclusions and no hidden costs. Depending on the route and location, transportation may include comfortable minibuses as well as off-road vehicles to access remote and hard-to-reach areas.

In every natural location visited, walks and hikes are included to allow travellers to experience the landscape directly rather than only through sightseeing. Off-road driving across the vast Kazakh steppe and highlands is treated as an integral part of the adventure experience. Programs may also include cultural elements such as visits to historical sites, petroglyphs, Scythian burial mounds, nomadic heritage locations, yurt visits and encounters with local communities. These elements are integrated naturally into the itinerary and complement the active components of the journey.

Accommodation is a key element of program design. Depending on the season and location, overnight stays may include guest houses and hotels, as well as our own infrastructure (a seasonal trekking camp in the Turgen Gorge or an alpine cabin). The use of Trekking Club’s own accommodation facilities allows for a high level of flexibility in accommodation style, catering and daily program structure.

In remote locations where no accommodation infrastructure exists, we provide full camping support, enabling overnight stays in landscapes that are otherwise inaccessible to mass tourism. This approach allows travellers to immerse themselves fully in the natural environment and creates experiences that cannot be replicated through standard tour formats.
