About
Services without a subscription
Not every owner wants a platform on day one. These are one-off services run on the NavOptix engine for a single voyage, a single fixture or a single vessel. Each one is priced per request and delivered as a written briefing. They are also the easiest way to see how the engine performs on your own trade before committing to a pilot.
1. Voyage route study
You give us origin, destination, vessel particulars and a departure window. We return every viable routing side by side: distance, transit time, fuel, canal tolls, fuel inside emission control areas, and the compliance cost of each option, meaning EU Emissions Trading System (EU ETS) allowances, FuelEU Maritime compliance cost at the statutory rate, and the Carbon Intensity Indicator (CII) effect. The chosen route is delivered as an RTZ file for direct import into the ECDIS.
2. Pre-fixture compliance cost estimate
For a charter under negotiation, we price the EU ETS and FuelEU cost of the intended voyage per routing, so that the owner and the charterer negotiate who pays from the same figures. The estimate names the regulation scope applied, 100% for intra-EU legs and 50% for legs between an EU and a non-EU port. This is a cost estimate, not legal advice.
3. Weather-routing comparison
The same voyage priced with and without weather routing on the same forecast. The result shows the extra miles against the fuel and compliance cost saved, and says plainly when there is no saving.
4. Post-voyage fuel reconciliation
You send the departure, noon and arrival reports of a completed voyage. We reconcile them against the physics-based forecast for that hull and return the fuel gap, report by report, in tonnes and as a percentage. Useful before and after a dry-docking or hull cleaning, and as the first calibration of the model to your vessel.
5. CII projection
For one vessel and one reporting year, the projected CII grade under alternative speeds and routings, so that a grade at risk is visible months before the year closes.
6. API access
The route optimiser and its compliance figures are available thstudies or for integration into your own tools. Access isgranted per project.
What every service has in common
- Every figure traces to a computation, and the briefing names its inputs: forecast source, vessel model and regulation scope.
- Decision support only. Nothing here replaces a verifier, a clwn navigational judgement.
- Turnaround and price are agreed per request.
